Sung-bong Choi of "Korea's Got Talent" is being considered as the next global talent show sensation as he is compared to Susan Boyle of “Britain’s Got Talent” as reported by various entertainment news sites, July 20, 2011.
It was reported that the 22-year-old Internet sensation from South Korea got over 10 million people so far watching him on YouTube after his appearance on "Korea's Got Talent.”
As noted, Choi has a very powerful baritone voice were one would think that the sound is coming from a person twice his age and built.
Apparently it was not only at his voice that brought much tears to audiences but also from his story.
As revealed, Choi told judges in his first appearance that, "I was left in the orphanage when I was 3.”
"and when I was 5, I ran away after being beaten by people there. I sold gum or energy drinks on the street. I had that life for about 10 years,” he adds.
Further report reveals that Choi is both scared and excited by the surge of global exposure he has received and currently a Facebook fan page has been set up in his name, people from all parts of the world are already full of praises in their comments for this guy who is a onetime construction worker.
