As the Harry Potter-mania comes to a close with the release of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2”, a fan in England decides to make a portrait, a corn maze portrait that is, as his means of paying tribute to Harry Potter as reported by various news sites, July 12, 2011.
It was reported that a farmer in York, England named Top Pearcy created not one but two almost identical giant portraits of Harry Potter using his farm as the “canvass” and corn as the “medium” as seen from a bird’s eye view.
Report reveals that the circular-framed images, a look alike of Harry in Ginny Weasley’s locket, are carved with “wizard like” precision into a corn field with more than one million corn stalks making it one of the biggest corn mazes in the world.
Further report reveals that the farmer made slight differences between the two portraits to make it more interesting such as the one on the left has the infamous scar in the forehead while the other has none and the left Potter have an ear while the right seems to be missing.
