Kate Hudson and fiancé Matt Bellamy have named their new baby boy, BinghamBingHawn Bellamy after days of careful thought as reported in various entertainment news sites, July 14, 2011.

It was reported that Muse front man Bellamy Tweeted Wednesday, "So happy! Just had a baby boy, Bingham 'Bing' Hawn Bellamy.”

Bellamy adds, "Mum and baby are strong and healthy. Mum was a warrior, Bing popped out after 4.5 hours of intense pushing!"

It was revealed that Bingham was born Saturday night in L.A. and weighed in at 7 lbs. 12 oz.

It was noted that the baby boy is the first child for Bellamy and second for Kate who has a 7-year-old son, Ryder, with former husband Chris Robinson front man of The Black Crowes.

Further report reveals that “Hawn” came from Kate’s mother actress Goldie Hawn but it was still yet unclear for the inspiration behind the name “Bingham” which is not a usual first name.

Apparently, it was reported that possible clues might be: Indie rocker Ryan Bingham of the band The Dead Horses; archaeologist/explorer Hiram Bingham discoverer of the ancient city of Machu Picchu in Peru in 1908, state of Idaho’s Bingham County and a Michigan town called Bingham.
