Hilary Duff Pregnant with First Child as Officially Announced on her Website

Hilary Duff announced the news of her pregnancy Sunday in a joint blog post with her husband, Mike Comrie as reported by various US news sites, August 15, 2011.

As reported, the actress/singer and her NHL- player husband who are celebrating their one-year anniversary posted the big news on her official website:

“We also want to share the exciting news that…… BABY MAKES THREE!!!,” the couple said in the posting after sharing with fans that they are celebrating their one year marriage anniversary. “We are extremely happy and ready to start this new chapter of our lives.”

As they also thanked their loyal fans for all the “continued love and support throughout the years!”

As noted, this is the first child for the former Disney darling Duff, who played in the title role in the Lizzy McGuire series, and Mike Comrie, who played for the NHL’s Pittsburgh Penguins.
