Argentina's Sergio Aguero and Javier Pastore, Brazil's Neymar and Chile's Alexis Sanchez are among the top soccer players in Europe’s list of prospects to beef up its roster with transfer fees that could amount to more than$60 million as reported in US sports news, June 18, 2011.
As reported, the Copa America starts July 1 in Argentina and with just barely 2 weeks to go four star players of South America's quadrennial championship are rumored to be highly talked about in the European summer transfer market.
Barcelona, the Spanish and European champion, already claimed that it is ready to allocate more than $60 million, although most fans agree that the team is already good as it is and needs no more fixing mainly because of Argentina's Lionel Messi being one of its stars.
Sandro Rosell, Barcelona's president, on pressures that keeps ball clubs on raising the bar even more was quoted in the report saying, "Initially, we have $64 million, but we might use part of next year's money too.”
It was further revealed that, even Manchester United, the English champion and runner-up to Barcelona in Europe is keen on acquiring Latin American talent.
On top of Europe’s summer shopping list are four South Americans, Argentina's Sergio "Kun" Aguero and Javier Pastore, Brazil's Neymar and Chile's Alexis Sanchez all in all these four could generate as much as $200 million in transfer fees.
