Dallas Mavericks proves to all that they are deserving champions despite many doubts as they won the 2011 NBA Finals against the Miami Heat in game 6, as reported in various sports sites, June 13, 2011.

As reported, the season belongs to the Dallas Mavericks, a team having a German star player, a controversial owner and a point guard that is aging; however this crew got what it takes to grab the NBA championship title away, with a105-95 win, from the highly favorite Miami Heat.

"This is a special group and we're World Champions," said Nowitzki in the report. "That sounds unbelievable,” he adds.

Apparently, it was Jason Terry who starred in game six as the back-up point guard scored 19 in the first half to compensate for Nowitzki’s scoring problems early in the game.
Further report attests that, Terry made 11 of 16 shots and had made three 3-pointers to finish the game with a high 27 points.
Nowitzki was quoted in the report as saying, "This is a win for team basketball.” "This is a win for playing like a team at both ends of the court,” he adds.

As noted, the Mavericks’ inspiring run includes sweeping two-time defending champion Lakers in the second round and beating Miami in the last three games to get the crown for the city of Dallas and owner Mark Cuban.
